HIGHLIGHTS SUMMARY: Smithsonian Craft2Wear is a three day show and sale of the finest in American contemporary wearable craft and design, held in the beautiful National Building Museum in Washington, DC. Visitors will see works from 93 artists from across the country in three categories: Jewelry, Wearable Art and Accessories. Serious collectors and casual shoppers alike will find one-of-a kind works in all price ranges. 

 

The Smithsonian Women’s Committee is honored to host an exhibit of traditional and modern crafts of South Korea. The exhibit in the auditorium will feature 11 distinguished craft artists from South Korea during show hours.

 

Visitors are invited to enjoy lunch at a special on- site pop up café.

 

The Smithsonian Craft Shows are produced by the Smithsonian Women’s Committee, which uses the funds raised to award annual grants across the Smithsonian’s 21 museums and libraries, nine research facilities, traveling exhibits and the National Zoo. Over $14 million in grants and endowments have been awarded since 1966.
